There are NEVER any consignment fees or bin charges.
Consignment at Duck Worth Wearing is simple we just ask that you follow these guidelines:
Please bring your
items in a plastic tub or bag with no more than 50 items.
Please allow 10 to 15 minutes for us go through your items while you
shop and return any items we can not take.
Please no
more than 50 items at a time.
We accept Maternity and
newborn through children’s size 10 clothing.
All clothing is seasonal. Please refer to our seasonal schedule.
We accept shoes – infant through children’s /
youth size 5.
We accept
clothing, toys, books, games, DVDs, baby equipment, kids
furniture, etc.
For various reasons we are unable to
accept:
car seats
underwear
used socks
VHS
videos
Bike helmets
Drop side cribs
Bottles
Pacifiers
Breast pumps
Stuffed animals
Feeding accessories - plates, silverware
Sippy cups
Child proof safety items unless new in package
Non-name brand toys
Toys with paint scratches
Toys containing unacceptable levels
of lead
Please look over your items thoroughly – we
will only accept the highest quality items.
Items must be
"Ready to Wear"
Please remove all garage sale stickers and no
safety pins or outfits taped together.
Toys and equipment
need to have all the pieces and working batteries. We may not accept some items because of the CPSIA law.
Your items are on the floor for 90 days or more – We strive to get the consigner the most money and the customer the best deal possible for the item. Because of this our sales will vary.
After 90 days, any item that did not sell becomes the property of Duck Worth Wearing. These items will then be donated to charities Duck Worth Wearing find appropriate.
You may pick up an itemized list at the end of the year for your tax returns. Currently over 90% of the items that come into Duck Worth Wearing sell before 90 days.
You will receive 40% of your selling price for the items priced under $30 and 50% for items price priced over $30.
No appointment is necessary.
